This church has the oldest roots on the island, dating back to the 14th century. It underwent different changes, especially throughout the 17th century. Is a church-fortress, with thick walls, a defensive tower, a flat terrace on the roof and an atrium inside, which was equipped with weapons up to 1869. It is made of a single semicircle vault reinforced with 5 arches.
