Yazoo Brewing Company, founded in 2003, stands as one of Nashville's most beloved craft breweries with over two decades of brewing excellence. Located at 900 River Bluff Drive in Madison, Tennessee, this family-owned brewery moved from the vibrant Gulch neighborhood in 2019 to expand operations, now featuring an impressive 5,000 square foot taproom and 24,000 square foot production facility. The brewery is renowned for its innovative approach to craft beverages, notably the Embrace The Funk program led by Brandon Jones, which has produced several acclaimed sour and wild ales. In February 2024, Yazoo launched Painted Porch Ciders, a new line of naturally gluten-free ciders featuring a 5% ABV Base cider, 8% ABV Imperial cider, and 6% ABV Cherry co-fermented variety. The taproom offers visitors a warm, industrial-chic atmosphere where they can sample fresh brews directly from the source. Food lovers can enjoy Grillshack Fries and Burgers, which opened its third location at the Madison taproom, serving the popular menu of burgers, fries, wings, and salads that has made this local Nashville favorite famous. Open Tuesday through Thursday 4PM-9PM, Friday 4PM-10PM, Saturday 12PM-10PM, and Sunday 12PM-8PM. Closed Mondays. Free on-site parking available. The brewery hosts special events, brewery tours, and offers growler and crowler fills for takeaway.
