About
Via Tribunali has been serving authentic Neapolitan pizza in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood since 2004, when it opened its doors in a converted auto body shop. The restaurant is renowned for its massive wood-burning brick oven, constructed with bricks imported from Naples that contain ashes from Mount Vesuvius—making it a true work of Italian craftsmanship. A master craftsman from Naples assembled the oven, which reaches temperatures of 842°F (450°C) to create the perfect pizza crust in just 60-90 seconds. As a proud member of the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association, Via Tribunali adheres to strict traditional methods, using hand-kneaded dough and ingredients imported directly from Naples. The restaurant offers classic varieties including the Marinara (tomato, olive oil, oregano) dating back to 1730, and the Margherita (tomato, olive oil, mozzarella, basil), named after Queen Margherita di Savoia. The Capitol Hill location features an open patio perfect for people-watching, cozy booths, a buzzing bar serving fantastic drinks, and a private dining room that accommodates parties up to 16 guests. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 4pm, with late-night service until 11:30pm on weekends. Delivery available through GrubHub, UberEats, and Caviar. Recognized by Seattle Magazine as Best Pizza Place 2020 Readers Choice.
