SHARIGATO is a newly opened hand roll restaurant located at 420 E 22nd St in Charlotte's vibrant FreeMoreBy neighborhood, bringing an intimate casual dining experience to the QC. Led by Chef Shari Lynne Robins, a 20-year restaurant veteran who has worked for celebrated chefs in New York City and Los Angeles, SHARIGATO specializes in made-to-order hand rolls (temaki) crafted with premium sustainably sourced seafood including salmon, scallops, blue crab, and tuna Toro, all wrapped in warm vinegared shari rice and roasted nori. The menu offers set menus ranging from 3 to 6 hand rolls ($19-$37), or guests can order individually priced rolls a la carte starting at $5.75 for vegetable options like cucumber and eggplant shishito, up to $9.50 for luxurious lobster hand rolls. Vegetarian diners will appreciate options like ube tempura, kabocha squash, and umami mushroom rolls. The beverage program features Japanese-inspired cocktails on tap including Yuzu Margarita and Wasabi Lemon Drop, alongside craft sake, Sapporo beer, and non-alcoholic options like green tea and Mexican sodas.
