Savorez Restaurant brings the vibrant flavors of Latin America to the heart of downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Located on the corner of 4th and Chestnut Street, this charming brick building packs explosive big bold flavors into a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Executive Chef and Owner Sam Cahoon, a true born-and-bred Wilmington native, has crafted a unique Southern take on Latin cuisine that has earned a loyal following among locals and visitors alike. After graduating with honors from Cape Fear Community College's Culinary Arts program and honing his skills at renowned local establishments including Dockside, Sweet N Savory, and the K38 restaurant group, Sam developed his signature style during his tenure as Executive Chef at Ceviche's. His famous dishes include the BLT arepas and Tiny Tuna Tostadas, which have become must-try menu items. General Manager Marie Kunza, who joined the team in 2017, has created an innovative bar program featuring freshly squeezed juices, quality cocktails, and a rotating wine list from around the world. The restaurant offers lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, with a casual relaxed environment perfect for any occasion. Due to limited space, Savorez operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Open Monday through Friday 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday noon to 10:00 PM, and Sunday brunch from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
