Miles Market

Miles Market is a beloved Saginaw institution that has quickly become the heart of the community since opening its doors. Located at 6235 Gratiot Road in Saginaw, Michigan, this unique establishment combines a bakery, restaurant, and bar under one roof, offering visitors an all-day destination experience. The story behind Miles Market is as rich as its menu—owner Linda Shephard purchased the historic building (once a golf course clubhouse and later the Saginaw ISD building) in 2017, and after overcoming significant challenges including flooding and the COVID-19 pandemic, transformed her vision into reality. The bakery section features equipment salvaged from the legendary Hamilton Bakery, continuing over a century of Saginaw baking tradition. Menu highlights include the famous Morning Jam breakfast sandwich with bacon, cream cheese, egg, and house-made bacon jam, as well as the stacked BLT on toasted sourdough. The atmosphere is distinctly warm and inviting, featuring string lights, hanging plants, metal cafe tables, and wooden dining furniture that creates a cozy yet modern setting. Miles Market hosts regular community events including trivia nights, book clubs, crochet gatherings, vendor markets, and live concerts. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 7AM to 8PM, and Sunday from 9AM to 3PM, closed Mondays.
