Janey's journey began at the local community college in Charlottesville, progressing from line cook to baking positions at MarieBette and Little Hat bakery in Nelson County before launching her own venture, Janey's Bread, at local farmers markets. Will's background includes co-owning Petite MarieBette in downtown Charlottesville. The bakery prides itself on working with local farmers for whole grains used in their sourdough and pastry offerings.
