Founded in 2019 by three brothers—Harvey, Nilo, and Sebas—along with their parents Harvey Sr. and Jacqueline, this restaurant represents a beautiful fusion of Nicaraguan, Costa Rican, and Cuban culinary traditions. The family relocated from Miami in 2017 and has since become a cornerstone of the local food scene, currently operating from their convenient location on 10th Street NW. The menu showcases authentic dishes like the popular huevos guajiros featuring house-made pulled pork, crispy queso frito, and the legendary El Cubano sandwich. Their Cuban-style coffee, crafted by pouring espresso over caramelized sugar, has earned a reputation as some of the best in town. Weekend brunch features tropical palmer drinks, the refreshing Macua cocktail made with Flor de Caña 7-year-old rum, and Mama Guajiros' legendary tres leches cake. The restaurant offers flexible catering options for events ranging from casual happy hours to formal conferences, and recently launched their exciting After Dark evening concept.
