Founded in 1973 by Pop, a retired US Marine Corps veteran who fell in love with eastern North Carolina during his service at Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, this restaurant represents over 50 years of continuous family dedication to bringing the freshest seafood to the community. The restaurant sources its catch directly from local fishermen who can be spotted in the early morning fog on the Neuse River, as well as from trusted vendors across the country. The restaurant has evolved from its original name, Tryon Palace Seafood, while maintaining the traditional fishing methods and community values that Pop established.
