Ferndale Project is an innovative brewery and cafe located at 567 Livernois in the heart of Ferndale, Michigan. Founded in 2020 as the experimental arm of Eastern Market Brewing Co. and Elephant & Co., this dynamic venue has quickly become a cornerstone of the local craft beer scene. The brewery distinguishes itself through its unique A/B testing approach, releasing beer and food in pairs and allowing customers to vote for their favorites, with winning recipes scaled for broader distribution. Their impressive tap list features rotating hazy IPAs like Virtual Summer at 10% ABV, creative stouts including Coconut Cloud White Stout and Dubai After Dark, refreshing fruited sours such as Watermelon Cooler Gose, and reliable flagships like Detroit Style IPA and Sweater Weather Porter. The on-site cafe serves specialty lattes including Pistachio Honey, Chocolate Dubai, and Churro flavors, along with quality coffee and tea. The venue offers multiple event spaces ranging from a 20-person indoor cafe to a 200-person full buyout, making it perfect for private parties and corporate events.
