The Egg Bistro is an independently owned neighborhood bistro that has been serving fresh, innovative breakfast and brunch fare in Virginia Beach since 2007. Founded by Mike and Doug, two friends who shared a passion for great music and exceptional breakfast, the restaurant was born from their years of traveling and experiencing underwhelming brunch options across the country. Located conveniently in the Haygood and Strawbridge sections of Virginia Beach, as well as in Chesapeake's Greenbrier area, The Egg Bistro has become a beloved local destination for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant proudly sources the freshest local ingredients from Virginia and North Carolina whenever possible, and serves their own locally roasted coffee to complement their creative menu. The bar features six rotating taps of local craft beer, award-winning Bloody Marys, and punchy mimosas. Open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 2 PM, and weekends from 7 AM to 3 PM, The Egg Bistro also offers comprehensive catering services for offices, homes, and special events, with private event space accommodating up to 150 guests complete with DJ services, live music, photo booths, and karaoke options.
