Curtsy's Café & Burger Bar is an award-winning smashburger destination nestled in the heart of downtown Franklinton, North Carolina. Founded by a couple who previously worked in the craft beer industry, this unique restaurant blends California surf culture with Southern hospitality. The story began over ten years ago in San Diego, where the founders bonded over their shared love of music, craft beer, and culinary experimentation. After forming a band called Curtsy and the Tin Man and getting married in 2016, they finally realized their dream of opening their own restaurant. The menu features expertly crafted smashburgers including the Classic, Jalapeño Cream Cheese, Hawaiian Burger topped with bacon and grilled pineapple, and the famous Franken Burger loaded with bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Their November Gobbler burger—featuring turkey, stuffing, cranberry aioli, and gravy for dipping—has become a seasonal sensation. Beyond burgers, guests enjoy breakfast sandwiches, chicken Caesar wraps, chicken salad croissant sandwiches, loaded hot dogs with meaty chili, and creamy pasta salad.
