Chris Carr began his culinary journey at just fourteen years old, working at his aunt Marcia Crelling's Marcia's Silver Spoon Café in Tacoma, where he mastered every aspect of the restaurant business over a decade. Ellen Carr, with her Business Management degree, brought additional expertise to the venture, having also worked at Marcia's in various roles from prep cook to waitstaff. The restaurant's signature Hot Honey Jalapeno Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich has become a local legend, featuring a homemade biscuit with fried hard egg, pepperjack cheese, choice of meat, crispy fried jalapeno coins, and a delectable hot honey drizzle, served with a side for $19.99. Operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 8am to 2pm, and Friday through Sunday from 8am to 3pm, Carr's offers both dine-in breakfast and lunch service as well as comprehensive catering for events ranging from intimate gatherings of 10 to grand celebrations of 500 guests.
