Carolina Beach Pier

Carolina Beach Pier stands as an iconic landmark on the North Carolina coast, offering visitors a unique beachfront dining and entertainment experience. Perched directly on the ocean, this beloved bar and grille features multiple indoor and outdoor venues, each with its own distinct charm. The oceanfront Tiki Bar, located at the pier's entrance, serves guests daily weather permitting, while the High Tide Lounge on the third floor provides panoramic ocean views during inclement weather. Known for its dog-friendly atmosphere, Carolina Beach Pier welcomes four-legged friends with a special doggie menu and requires all dogs to remain on leash. The venue hosts exciting seasonal events including Full Moon Parties, a Holiday Pop-Up Bar, and a Beach Pumpkin Patch. Private event spaces are available for birthdays, weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of life, with customizable packages and stunning beachfront backdrops. The pier itself has been operating as a bar and grille since Hurricane Florence damaged the fishing area in 2018, with approximately half currently closed for repairs. Parking is reserved exclusively for dining guests in the private lot adjacent to the pier house. Starting January 2026, smoking will only be permitted on the ground level in the Sandbar area.
