BESA is a premier Adriatic-inspired restaurant located in the heart of downtown Detroit at 600 Woodward Avenue. Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Brady Kelley, a graduate of Schoolcraft College's Culinary Arts program, BESA brings an authentic Taste of the Adriatic experience to Michigan. The restaurant showcases a menu rich with Mediterranean flavors, featuring Rhode Island day boat calamari, Village Salad with sun-drenched herbs and feta, and a notable 14 oz prime halal ribeye with potato pastiçe, onion soubise, and mushroom conserva. The dining experience is complemented by an extensive wine room housing over 200 bottles of new and old world wines, available for guests to explore with a personalized cellar tour. BESA offers Happy Hour specials Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm, featuring $6 wines, $9 cocktails, and $4 draft beer.
