Save A Life Healthcare Empowerment Initiative (SALHEI) is a dedicated non-profit humanitarian organization based in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria, committed to transforming lives in vulnerable communities. Since its founding in 2015 and official incorporation in 2023, SALHEI has been a beacon of hope, delivering essential, life-saving healthcare and support where it's most critically needed. Our comprehensive programs focus on improving healthcare access, significantly reducing preventable maternal and child deaths through vital care and education, and combating severe malnutrition during crises with emergency nutrition solutions. We also implement crucial WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives, ensuring access to clean water and promoting healthy practices. Furthermore, SALHEI champions protection and advocacy efforts, addressing gender-based violence and promoting reproductive health services. Located conveniently on Bama Road, opposite the University of Maiduguri, SALHEI invites local and international partners to join its mission to build healthier, more dignified futures for all.
