The Why Foundation

The Why Foundation, located in the heart of Copenhagen at Gothersgade 55, is a women-owned non-profit organization dedicated to promoting human rights worldwide. Through powerful documentary films, they raise awareness on critical issues such as democracy, poverty, modern slavery, and environmental challenges. Their mission is to bridge the information gap by providing free access to fact-based media, especially targeting vulnerable communities globally. Open weekdays from 9am to 5pm, The Why Foundation invites locals and visitors to support their cause and engage with impactful storytelling that drives social change.
