Rio Bravo

Step into Rio Bravo, a beloved Copenhagen institution since 1980, offering a unique blend of hearty Danish comfort food and classic Western dishes. Nestled on Vester Voldgade, just a stone's throw from the iconic Tivoli Gardens, our wood-and-brick clad eatery provides a cozy, historic ambiance perfect for families, groups, and tourists alike. Indulge in traditional Danish favorites like 'Stegt flæsk ad libitum' (crispy fried pork with parsley sauce) and a variety of 'Smørrebrød' for lunch. Our dinner menu features succulent steaks, Wienerschnitzel, and the famous 'Rio Bravo Burger'. Beyond the delicious food, Rio Bravo holds a special place in Danish history, being the namesake of the 'Rio Bravo-forliget' – a significant political agreement from 1983. Enjoy our great desserts, extensive beer and wine selection, and a welcoming, LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere with wheelchair accessibility. Book your table for a memorable dining experience in the heart of København.
