StarCity Empowerment and Leadership Foundation for Women and Children, known as SELFWOC, is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Our mission is to foster a society where all women and children enjoy secure, healthy, and enlightened lives, empowering them to become competent leaders of tomorrow. We achieve this through comprehensive programs focusing on education, skills acquisition, and medical assistance. Key initiatives include the "He 4 She Project," which promotes gender parity and inclusiveness, alongside various training programs in financial literacy, vocational skills like baking and tailoring, and digital interventions. SELFWOC is committed to impactful humanitarian programs, guided by core values of Determination, Responsibility, Integrity, Effective communication, and valuing every relationship. We have successfully empowered over 1000 women and extended our reach across multiple states in Nigeria, striving for economic empowerment and sustainable nation-building within the communities of Port Harcourt and beyond.
