High Chief Gift Okonu Foundation, located behind Chief Gift Okonu's compound in Ogbakiri, Rivers State, Nigeria, is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on empowering widows and the less privileged. Established in 2020, the foundation builds on a legacy of community support, providing scholarships, vocational training, medical aid, and business assistance to over 5000 widows primarily in Rivers and Abia States. The foundation also runs outreach programs and is actively fundraising to build a home for critical care. Open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, it serves as a beacon of hope and sustainable development in the South-South region.
