FEYREP, based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, is a dedicated non-governmental and not-for-profit organization established in 2015. Our core mission is to empower women, girls, and widowed families, fostering sustainable economic independence through tailored programs. We provide crucial integrated support for female victims and survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), including those who have experienced trafficking and related abuses. FEYREP actively promotes community advocacy for social re-orientation, SGBV prevention and intervention, and offers coordinated shelter services for trafficking survivors. We also champion digital education for marginalized populations, collaborate on drug prevention and rehabilitation, and support improved social intervention data management. With facilities including a child correctional facility, an orphanage, and transit/permanent shelters, FEYREP is a beacon of hope in the Ewet Housing Estate area, committed to creating a society where everyone can thrive. Our initiatives extend to health, education, gender equality, and climate action, all aimed at building resilient communities in Akwa Ibom.
