The Centre for Alternative Sustainable Livelihoods (CASELS) is a non-profit organization in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria, focused on empowering rural communities. We drive sustainable development by improving rural health, enhancing education, and providing essential support. Partnering with international and local entities, CASELS executes impactful projects in environmental protection, healthcare, and educational access. Our initiatives include delivering critical relief to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Adamawa state, a direct response to the Boko Haram insurgency, and championing girl child education in Nigeria's North-east, where literacy rates are low. We prioritize locally-driven, affordable, and eco-friendly solutions. CASELS is committed to securing and sustaining alternative livelihoods, fostering resilience, and ensuring a better quality of life for communities across Maiduguri and Nigeria.
