I attended Il Gusto this evening, Wednesday 21/07/2021, with my wife who is wheelchair bound. We hadn’t booked a table but we were offered one inside. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the restaurant as the wooden access ramp is at too steep an angle to allow me to either push or pull her wheelchair up and I’ve been doing this for twenty years. It was disappointing as the reviews and photos of the food looked good. I’m not sure if the restaurant has made reasonable adjustments for wheelchair users or if their ramp breaches the Equality Act 2010, though I think it should be possible to have a removable ramp at a less steep angle. It is not something that I intend to pursue, I’m simply leaving this review for other wheelchair users as a warning.
