What a lovely little chippy. I only live a few minutes away by car, and it was well worth trip. The lady behind the counter was friendly. Nice large portions and very tasty. I had a large plain sausage with chips and beans. Good value and easy parking. I will be back many times. Edited 11th October 2025 It's with a lot of disappointment I'm writing this as this was my favourite chippy. Sadly it has a new owner and with that the food has changed also. I had fish and chips with beans twice. The fish had a hard batter covered in very fine black bits, also the chip portions have gotten smaller. On top of that the price has gone by an extra £4. This will be my last time using what was a lovely chippy.
