The Museum of Contemporary Art
of Ibiza, inaugurated in 1969 thanks to the First Biennial of Ibiza that
took place in 1964, is located
in the old Arms Hall of
the Royal Forces of Ibiza, erected
in 1727 in the bastion of Sant Joan.
After refurbishment, it reopened in 2012, including a set
of century Carthaginian houses
IV a. C. that have been integrated with the
rest of the new building through
a transparent floor.
