FødevareBanken, located in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, is a dedicated non-profit organization combating food waste and social inequality in Denmark. By collecting surplus fresh food from producers and wholesalers, FødevareBanken redistributes it to social organizations nationwide, turning potential waste into nourishing meals. Since 2010, they have provided millions of meals to people in vulnerable situations, supported by a network of passionate volunteers and staff.
